Oct 05, 2015 In the Microsoft Office 2011 14.5.6 Update volume window, double-click the Office 2011 14.5.6 Update application to start the update process, and then follow the instructions on the screen. If the installation finishes successfully, you can remove the update installer from your hard disk. Yesterday I was prompted to download a series of updates, one of which was Office 2011 14.7.2. All downloaded okay. A check was then done automatically and came up with Office 2011 14.7.2 to be updated - again. I have done this a number of times, including after I rebooted the laptop and also left it turned off overnight.
